About me

I create expressive art and portraiture through a melange of pencils, pen and ink, acrylics and digital. A professional artist since 1978, I specialize in capturing the personality-driven "moments in time" of popular culture. My techniques range from the controlled chaos of pencil strokes to the precision of Rapidograph stippling. With my craft initially honed as a screen-print artist, I bring that vibrant style into my own creative pieces. My artistic inspirations range from Andy Warhol and Patrick Nagel to the European artists of "Metal Hurlant". Much of my work is based on the premise that "the eyes are the window to the soul". I'm married to my soulmate, Kay.
